About Us

In 1998 Melbourne artist and designer Tri Vo created a series of graphics inspired by the Japanese art of hentai anime. He produced a small range of T-shirts from the designs - and sold out in days!

Street wear in Australia needed a boost, and SYKE was it.

It only took two seasons to establish SYKE as a nationally recognised brand. Today, this unique label is sold throughout Australia and New Zealand in independent boutiques and larger chains like Glue, Edge, Universal and Basement at Myer.

SYKE is now available in the UK, after Ross O'Leary and Nick Miles picked up some Tee's in Sydney whilst travelling and over a few cold ones in the Beach Road hatched a plan. Back in the UK they hooked up with Kate Novell and made SYKE UK a reality.

Tri's psychotic graphics draw on Japanese art, street culture, and beauty in the everyday, and ten years down the track SYKE remains true to the street culture at its core - a bit gritty, a bit beautiful.
